Rubber Laser Cutting Melbourne

Our rubber laser cutting process starts with your digital design, which is uploaded into our CNC laser cutting system. The design guides the laser head with pinpoint precision, allowing us to cut accurate, detailed shapes, small features and complex curves exactly as you’ve specified in your designs.

Because this is a non-contact method, the laser moves across the material without pressing or dragging against it, which prevents compression, distortion or tearing, as opposed to the issues seen in traditional mechanical cutting.

As the laser beam moves along the design path, it cleanly vaporises the rubber, leaving sealed, smooth edges that don’t fray or require further finishing. It also supports very tight cutting tolerances, even on soft or elastic rubber types.

Our equipment can handle a variety of sheet thicknesses, and we optimise nesting to reduce waste and keep material use efficient. Fume extraction systems are built in to safely manage vapours released during the process, keeping the environment clean and safe.
